Full Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival (D)
Welcomed upon arrival at Yangon International Airport, we will be driven to our hotel. The rest of the day will be free to recover. This evening, we will have a welcome dinner in Karaweik Palace which overlooking the Royal Lake and Shwedagon Tower. A meal of fine Burmese food will be served followed by a beautiful cultural show of music and dancing. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon Sightseeing (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, start your first-day sightseeing in Burma honeymoon vacation with a visit to the sacred Shwedagon pagoda – the most prominent monument in Yangon. Then we visit the Sule Pagoda to Chinese Town, where we have a chance to enjoy exotic streets of Yangon downtown and British Colonial building as Emmanuel Church, Inland Water Buildings. We will then move to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda to see the 70-m long reclining Buddha and Myanmar’s holiest monument. Finally, finish up your day by enjoying some last-minute shopping at Scott Market. (Note: the market is closed on Mondays and gazette holiday). We spend the night in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon – Fly to Heho – Inle Lake (B)
This morning we will take a flight to Heho. Inle Lake, the second largest lake in Myanmar is located 900 meters above sea level and is home to the Intha people, who are very famous for their one leg-rowing technique. On arrival, we take an hour's drive to the scenic Inle Lake and then board a motorboat for a sightseeing tour to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, famed for its richly gilded five small Buddha images and believed to be the holiest pagoda in Inle Lake.
Continue your third-day sightseeing in Burma honeymoon tour to the “Jumping Cat Pagoda” Ngaphechaung Monastery. When we travel closer to Nam Pan Village, we have a look at cotton and lotus weaving factories and cigar making houses. We will have a true experience of traditional Intha life. Overnight in a resort in Inle Lake.
Day 4: Inle Lake – Indein – Inle Lake (B)
On the morning of day 4, power up your honeymoon in Burma as you visit the unique “5-Day Market” which is held in different villages surrounding the lake. This is absolutely a magnificent place to enjoy the scene of local tribes in their colorful clothes and furthermore experience the exotic market atmosphere.
After lunch, the boat will take us to the beautiful temple of Indein, located on the hill overlooking the lake. It is time to enjoy a poetic walking along the corridors and the giant columns that have been left to nature for centuries. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 5: Inle Lake – Heho – Mandalay (B)
After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, you will catch a flight from Heho to Mandalay - the next destination of your amazing honeymoon in Burma. Welcome upon arrival at the airport then we transfer to the hotel in Mandalay city center. Being famous as the Buddhism center in Myanmar, Mandalay is a realm of stupas, monks and monasteries. We first visit the Mahagandaryone Monastery and watch the monks in their afternoon meal and rice ceremony. We then take a stroll along the nearby U Bein Bridge to visit Kyautawgyi, returning by boat to enjoy the cool breeze and spectacular landscape of Taungthaman Lake.
The next visit will be at Mandalay Palace. After that, we will visit Kuthodaw Pagoda, famed as “the world’s biggest book” composed of 729 stupas. Conclude the day with a ride up the zigzagging road to Mandalay Hill. Climb to the top of the hill and watch the beautiful sunset around the surrounding plain, river, and mountains. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 6: Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer to the Shwe Kyat Yet Jetty where we will sail upstream for about one and a half-hour to the Mingun Pagoda Complex to see the unfinished pagoda, the Mingun Bell, weighing 90 tonnes and the biggest hanging undamaged bell in the world.
After lunch on board, we continue downstream to Sagaing and have a visit to Sagaing for about two & a half-hour excursion by coach. We then back to the board, sail downstream and enjoy the sunset over Sagaing Hill. Moor overnight at a sandbank mid-stream. After dinner, guests can enjoy a Traditional Dance on the sundeck (if available). We will spend the night in the Irrawaddy Princess II Cruise.
Day 7: Sagaing – Yandabo Village (B, L, D)
In the morning, begin your honeymoon tour on a cruise downstream to Yandabo Village. The defendant on the base economy is famous for the production of terracotta from the riverbank clay. Explore the pottery making process at various stages. We enjoy an hour shore excursion and then back to board and cast off. Continue our third-day trip by sailing downstream and moor overnight at near Chindwin confluence. We spend the second night on the Irrawaddy Princess II Cruise.
Day 8: Yandabo Village – Bagan (B)
Cast off early morning, we continue sailing downstream and approximately arrive at Bagan about 09:00 AM. Bagan is Myanmar’s archaeological wonderland, where over 3,000 ancient temples blossom from the countryside. Disembark from the board and start our day tour with a trip to the bustling Nyang U Market in Old Bagan then explore the beautiful, gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions then visit the Ananda Temple.
Highlight the afternoon sightseeing of your honeymoon with a tour of a local lacquerware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made. Later on, fulfill your trip with a scenic drive through the ancient stupas to the sunset hill. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the fabulous view of the sunset over the sites.

Day 9: Bagan Discovery (B)
Today, start your exciting honeymoon with a trip to the bustling Nyaung U Market in Old Bagan and then explore the beautiful gold leaf Shwezigon Pagoda and learn about Burmese Buddhist traditions. Ananda Temple is our next visit of this day, stopping along the way on the Bagan plains to admire some of the surrounding temples. In the afternoon, we take a tour of a local lacquerware workshop and learn how this traditional piece of art is made. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 10: Balloon Ride over Bagan (B)
Today, we will have a memorable day-trip on honeymoon vacation and let’s say, it would be one of your special days in Myanmar honeymoon. Pick up at our hotel in the early morning, before sunrise, we will have a hot balloon ride over Bagan. Amazed your eyes and taken away your breath by the beauty and diversity of temples and stupas below you. With the Irrawaddy River to the west and the mountains to the east, the balloon ride will no double be your flight of a lifetime and one of the most memorable experiences in Burma honeymoon vacation.
After a 45-minute ride over the morning skies, the pilots will guide his crafts for a safe landing. Well, we will then have a small party to welcome you back with sparkling wine, fresh fruits. After receiving the Balloon Certificate that personally signed by the pilot, we will be driven back to the hotel for a proper breakfast. We will then have an exotic horse cart riding, slowly sightseeing around the plain and stop at one of the biggest temples in Bagan: Nan Paya pagoda and many other interesting sites nearby. Overnight in a hotel in Bagan.
Day 11: Bagan – Yangon – Departure (B)
Time will be free until our car arrives to take us to the airport for a flight to Yangon. On arrival at Yangon International Airport, we will entertain ourselves at the airport in good time to connect the homeward flight. Tour ends.
