The September marks the end of the wet season in Myanmar as the rainfall is expected to subdued and temperatures also drop but still remaining in the high 20’s and even early 30’s°C. In contrast to many other places of Myanmar, the central plains to the south of Mandalay are the hottest and driest region whose temperatures are in the low 30’s°C and the rainfall is minimal. Rainfall and temperatures will do tend to dip towards the end of September.
The unfavorable weather results in the low number of tourists, the close of beach resorts and the difficulty of traveling much of the country. Visiting Myanmar during the month will hit some limitations but September really brings you something especially the second half of the month which absolutely deliver some nice weather conditions for traveling lovers with spectacular landscapes, unique architecture and authentic culture of Myanmar.
