Myanmar weather in July does not change from last month, with little much heavy rains expected. Things seem to be negative as the wet season progresses, the rainfall reach its peak during the month. The chance of rains is very high throughout much of the country as the south-western monsoon increases in intensity. Temperatures still remain high as the previous months across the country (averaging highs of 27 - 30°C).
Unlike many parts of Myanmar, the central plains to the south of Mandalay are the hottest and driest regions of the country, with low to mid 30’s°C temperatures, and rainfall is relatively minimal. The beach resorts on the west and southern coast are now being closed due to the severe weather. Travelling across the country becomes difficult, or even impossible in many cases.
