He was a grandson of Inwa, Second Min Gaung (842-863). His right-hand man Nga Thaukkya (Friday) inadvertently hacked with a sword at Shwe Nawrahta’s uncle, king of Inwa Shwe Nan Kyaut Shin, but it just hurt the umbrella. Thus son of the king’s guard, governor of Yenantha, Nga Shwe Kyu seized hold of Nga Thankkya, and King Shwe Nan Kyaut Shin himself killed him on the spot. Then judging from the fact that it was so happened his master Shwe Nawrahta’s advice the king also got rid of Shwe Nawrahta by drowning.
