This Myanmar vacation was one of the best holidays we have ever had. From the first email I made to the last, everything was done to perfection with Rebecca from Gomyanmar. We corresponded extensively by phone and email before booking the trip and were given lots of suggestions and alternatives to this exclusive tailor-made holiday. Rebecca helped us to arrange everything from food (my husband is vegetarian), accommodation, the hot air balloon, and everything. Our trip was more interesting as we had 2-night with Sanctuary Ananda cruise where we met many funny guests who have become our good friends after the trip.
We started in Yangon where we were welcomed at the airport by Sandar and taken to our hotel as a couple. Then we went to Bagan for two nights on Sanctuary Ananda cruise ship to Mandalay and especially we had a chance to enjoy an enchanting hot air balloon which we thought was the best highlight of our trip.
This was our first time in Myanmar and we really wanted to see all the highlights of the country and our guides helped us to do so. We have learned a lot of things about Myanmar from our guides. They even took the time to show us the best place to purchase local products.
During the trip, all the Hotels chosen were in the heart of every attraction. Among all, the Aureum Resort in Inle Lake was great. Staff are professional, friendly and the services are exceptional.
We have experienced Myanmar on a very personal level and feel that we could not have had a better experience. There were many meals provided for us and the restaurants and shops chosen were outstanding.
We could not find anything wrong about our trip and we would recommend this super friendly local tour company to all with no hesitation. Thank you so much, Rebecca, for all your time and research. It was an absolute pleasure.
