Full Itinerary
Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival
Jom Reab Suar! Welcome to Siem Reap – the gateway city to an ancient world! Today meet and were welcomed by our tour guide at the airport. We know there will be a little tired after the flight so our driver will quickly transfer you to the hotel for check-in. Afterward, enjoy your leisure time at the hotel. Overnight in Angkor Miracle Resort & Spa.
Day 2: Siem Reap – Angkor Complex
Today is an amazing day to let you capture the alluring beauty of Siem Reap in ancient temples. We will make our first visit of the day at the Royal Enclosure where you will discover the palace complex of the Angkor kings. Then our morning visit also includes the Phimeanakas temple, Elephant Terrace, and Terrace of Leper King. After that, head to the Bayon Temple and Ta Phrom Temple to marvel at the exotic stone face carvings.
In the afternoon, make your most memorable trip of the day to Angkor Wat, the 7th wonder of the world which possesses some of the longest and most intricated stone carvings. With an area of four times the size in comparison to Vatican city, Angkor Wat lists itself as the largest religious site in the world. Take your time to walk along the passages, levels, and chambers of the temple to capture the treasure of the ancient world. Later, enjoy the magical sunset at Phnom Bakheng or Pre Rup before returning to the hotel.
Day 3: Siem Reap – Koh Ker – Beng Mealea
Rise early this morning to take a drive toward the northeast of Siem Reap to reach Koh Ker, the ancient capital of Cambodia and also one of the largest historic cities that still witness a small number of tourists. Our guide will lead you through the gigantic temples in the city to visit Prasat Thom, an ancient ruin of the 36-meter high temple in Koh Ker. There is an imposing pyramid at the end of Prasat Thom that is somewhat reminiscent of Mayan or Inca architecture.
After gazing out some more surrounding temple. We travel back to Siem Reap for a visit to the Beng Mealea temple which stays in the archaeological complex of Angkor Wat. In the afternoon, make your way return to Siem Reap. Overnight in Angkor Miracle Resort & Spa.
Day 4: Siem Reap – Kompong Phuluk – Hanoi
After breakfast, start the journey on a boat trip to reach the village of Kompong Phhluk built on stilts. Take a boat trip and explore the great ecosystem on the floodplain and hear the call of the monkey haunting from the jungle. We also make our visit to the Buddhist temple on the island with some beautiful Buddhist life paintings on the ceiling.
Next, visit Artisan D'angkor which is the school for training young people doing handicraft work. If time permits, we will make visit the Old Market to observe many artifacts, precious stones, silk, jewelry, and wood carvings. After that, the driver will transfer you to the airport to board a flight to Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi City Tour
Xin Chao! You are staying in the heart of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Today is a full day that allows you to enjoy the hectic pace of life in Hanoi. We will make our first visit of the day at the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to observe the displays of many cultural objects of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam. After that, our guide will take you to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum for a solemn visit to the Ho Chi Minh Museum and his stilt house. Here you will have an opportunity to gain an insight into his life. From there, proceed to the Temple of Literature to visit the first national university of Vietnam. Then lunch will be served at a local restaurant for you to savor the best Vietnamese cuisine.
In the afternoon, enjoy a traditional puppet show at Thang Long Water Puppet Theater to gain an authentic experience of Vietnamese art. Finally, complete your city tour as you get on a cyclo and slowly pass through 36 streets of the Old Quarter, gaze out at the antique houses, and listen to the sound of scooters and car warming around the street.

Day 6: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Rise early this morning to take a drive to Halong Bay. Upon the pier, embark on the cruise where you will spend 2 days and 1 night exploring Halong Bay. Enjoy a welcome drink while your cruise ship takes you to Light and Dark cave where you can join in many interesting activities such as swimming, kayaking, or bamboo boat rowed by the locals.
Return to the cruise at 17:30 to sit back on the sundeck and capture the gorgeous sunset over the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoy a complimentary party. This evening delivers an exciting experience as you can join in a cooking class to learn how to make spring rolls, the traditional food of Vietnam, and learn more about Vietnamese cuisine. After enjoying a great dinner, relax in your leisure time on the top deck and marvel at the landscape of the bay at night. Overnight on the cruise.
Day 7: Halong bay – Hanoi
Wake up in the sound of a serene ambiance in the morning. Then take a morning exercise with a Tai Chi master to power up your new day. After breakfast, our guide will take you to a daily boat and sail to the beautiful Sung Sot Cave. Spend time to kayak and discovering the idyllic cave before returning to the boat.
After enjoying lunch on the boat, continue sailing to other attractions of Halong Bay. We will make our stop at a fishing farm to learn about their daily life. Later, transfer to the cruise where you will proceed to the bus to go back to Hanoi overnight.
Day 8: Hanoi Departure – Chiang Mai
Say goodbye to Hanoi this morning to board a flight to Chiang Mai. Upon arrival, our guide will meet, and then we will make our first visit of the day to Wat Phra Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in Chiang Mai for a short visit.
After hiking up to the top of the hill, you will reach the marvelous golden pagoda were enshrining the holy relics of Lord Buddha. From here, gain a panoramic view of the city and Ping valley from the summit of Doi Suthep. Later, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 9: Chiang Mai – Kanta Elephant Camp – Bamboo Rafting
Today is an amazing day for you to see giant elephants. Following your breakfast a drive to the deep of the jungle to reach Kanta Elephant Sanctuary. Upon here, you can try your hand at feeding and bathing an elephant must be an exciting experience. Note that elephant riding will not be our highlight. We will learn how to take care of the elephants. Lunch will be served at the camp and then enjoy a short break at your leisure.
In the afternoon, experience an authentic bamboo rafting along the Mae Taeng River to capture the natural scenery on the riverside. After that, return to Chiang Mai and make a short visit to Orchid Nursery along the way. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 10: Chiang Mai – Chiang Dao – Chiang Rai
Leave Chiang Mai early this morning and head to Chiang Rai. There will be a stop at Chiang Dao Cave for a visit to the magnificent temple that stays inside. Then you will have an interesting meeting with 5 different hill tribes and Karen tribes who are especially famous for their long necks.
After learning about their traditional way of life and cultural custom, visit Tha Ton Temple before taking a long tail boat and sailing down Kok River to Chiang Rai. Overnight in Chiang Rai.
Day 11: Chaing Rai – Golden Triangle – Chiang Mai
This morning, your guide will take you to visit Mae Sai Border, an important market in the region and the best place for any tourists who want to get a glimpse at Myanmar. To cross the border tourists are required to pay THB 500 for the immigration fee.
En route, we make a visit to Chiang Sean at the Golden Triangle which is the confluence of Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar. From there embark on a long tail boat and sail along Laos side to capture the ongoing splendor of the mighty Mekong nature. Following your boat trip and then drive back to the hotel in Chiang Mai. Overnight in Chiang Mai.
Day 12: Chiang Mai – Yangon – Half-Day City Tour
After breakfast, enjoy your leisure time until our driver comes to pick you up to transfer to the airport for a flight to Yangon, the gateway city to mystical Myanmar. Upon arrival, welcomed by our tour guide at the airport, and then we take a drive to the downtown city. Along your way, you will capture the fascination of the unique colonial architecture featured on many streets. Your first sightseeing in Yangon may include Chauk Hat Gyi Pagoda, home to the marvelous reclining Buddha image. Not just sightseeing, your guide will feast you will knowledge about the meaning of the special symbols on the feet of the images to the art of Burmese people.
Next up, head for a stunning photo stops at Kandawgyi Lake from which you can marvel at the golden Karaweik Palace. Perhaps the most expected activity of the day is visiting the legendary Shwedagon Pagoda, the most famous destination in Yangon that cannot be missed when traveling to Yangon. Spend your time observing the fantastic architecture, local pilgrims as well as the monks while beholding the amazing sunset view. This will definitely be a mind-blowing experience. Day 13: Yangon – Bagan
Leave Yangon this morning to board a domestic flight to Bagan which is more like a dizzy daydream to visitors. Make your first visit to Bagan to Nyaung U Market for a first glimpse at the daily trading of the local people.
After that, ready to spend the day exploring the man-made masterpiece of this charming area by visiting almost famous temples in the region including Shwezigon pagoda, Dhamayan Gyi pagoda, Htominlo pagoda, etc. There is no way to gain an authentic local experience better than to visit a lacquerware workshop and see the artisans make the beautiful items in a traditional way.
Highlight your afternoon with a trip to the highest temple in the region: Shwesandaw Pagoda to sit back and behold one of the best sunsets in the world slowly going down. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 14: Bagan & Villages
Wake up to the sound of the light wind swaying this morning and was ready for a full day discovering the life of the people in the rural area. After breakfast, our guide will take you to the villages nearby Bagan to learn more about the locals' laid-back pace of life. Then a horsecart ride is expected to deliver you a different perspective of Bagan. This stunning trip will take you deep into the hardest entering areas that no car can access.
In the afternoon, transfer to the jetty to take a wooden boat trip and cruise down the Irrawaddy River to Shwezigon Pagoda. Sit back and enjoy the harmony of the light wind swaying and the majestic sunset. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 15: Bagan – Heho – Inle Lake
Say goodbye to Bagan this morning to take a flight to Heho, the gateway to breathtaking natural scenery. Upon arrival at Heho, our driver will transfer you to Nyaungshwe to board a boat trip to the hotel. Your stunning boat trip will take you to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the most sacred religious site in Northern Shan State. Your sightseeing also includes visits to local handicrafts, silk weaving, wooden handlooms, and traditional blacksmith factory.
Passing by the endless floating gardens, stilt houses, and monasteries, you will reach Nga Phe Chaung Monastery, a wooden monastery built on a stilt. From there proceed to Nampan village where you will visit a local cheroot factory and canoe carving. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 16: Inle Lake – Indein
The morning of day 16 begins with a visit to the local market which rotates every five days. Once you find yourself at the market, you observe many local products sold by the hill tribes wearing traditional outfits. Then we continue our amazing day on a boat trip sailing through the narrow channels to reach the ancient village of Indein which attracts tourists with thousands of ancient shrines and stupas.
Take your time to walk along the collonades to gaze out at the unique traditional souvenirs before spending the rest of the day visiting the village of the "long neck" women. Spending your time interacting and listening to the story of the big rings around their neck before returning to the lake. It's time when you will see the most iconic image of Inle Lake – the Intha fishermen who practice the unique fishing method using one leg to keep an oar and another leg to balance their body on the lake. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 17: Inle Lake – Heho – Mandalay – Amarapura
Leave Inle Lake this morning to board a domestic flight to Mandalay – the cultural center of Myanmar. Make your first visit in Mandalay to the Mahamuni Pagoda where you will see many of the large and impressive Buddha images. Then we also head to an artisan's workshop of gold leaf making, woodcarving, and marble carving before visiting the Golden Palace Monastery to observe the intricated architecture featured on the wall, Buddha images, and the roof.
Highlight your day trip in Mandalay to Kuthodaw pagoda which is home to the largest Buddhist book in the world carved on 729 marble slabs. Finally, fulfill your sightseeing at U Bein Bridge, the longest teak bridge in the world to take some awesome photos. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 18: Mandalay – Irrawaddy River – Mingun
Today is a full day to let you explore the ancient town of Mingun. After breakfast, board a private boat to cruise up the Irrawaddy River. We will make our first visit of the day to Mingun Bell, the second-largest bronze intact bell in the world. After that, make your way to the unfinished Mingun Pagoda to visit the ruin of the pagoda that once intendedly built to be the largest pagoda in the world.
Then we see another highlight of Mingun: the white-washed Hsinbyume Temple which is built in the shape of Mt Meru. What better way to get to know the locals than to interact with the local craftsmen in a traditional basketry village and try your hands at making a basket for your own? Experience your interesting time in the village and then return to Mandalay where you will spend the last visit of the day to Royal Palace, the last residence of the Burmese King. This evening, transfer to Mandalay Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 19: Mandalay – Bangkok
Enjoy your own free time this morning after breakfast at the hotel and wait until our driver comes to pick you up to transfer to the airport to board a flight to Bangkok. There won't be any sightseeing this day and we will transfer you directly to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 20: Bangkok City Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, start the day with a visit to the Golden Buddha housed in the temple of Wat Traimit which is well-known as the world's largest Buddha statue made from solid gold. Then your next visit will be the Wat Pho Temple, home to the Reclining Buddha and other 394 gilded Buddha images.
In the afternoon, follow your guide to the Grand Palace, the most visited and remembered landmark of Thailand. Served as a significant royal residence until 1925, it is now used for ceremonial purposes only. Next up, your guide might also lead you to visit Coronation Hall, Funeral Hall, and the famous Emerald Buddha. Later on, take a long-tail boat ride along the canal to see Thai houses and typical rural life as well as a visit to the Temple of Dawn before ending your day.
Day 21: Bangkok – Ayuttaya Ancient Town
Take a scenic drive this morning to visit Ayutthaya, the historic city with impressive archaeological ruins. Your first stopover today is Wat Phra Si Sanphet, one of the most beautiful pictures of Ayuttaya. Then we also head to other beautiful temples such as Wat Phra Mahathat, Wat Mongkhon Bophit, and Wat Ratburana. We then spend the last minute of this morning admiring one of the largest images of the Retreating Buddha in Wat Yai Chaingmongkhol.
In the afternoon, visit Bang Pa-In Palace – an impressive construction expanding over a large area and filled with grassy lawns and serene water. Here you will have an opportunity to discover a great combination of Chinese, Thai, and European architecture. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon. Overnight in Bangkok.
Day 22: Bangkok Departure
After breakfast, check out at the hotel, and then our driver will pick you up at the airport for a flight to your departure. Your Myanmar trip ends.
