Full Itinerary
Day 1: Yangon Arrival - Discover the City
Welcomed upon arrival at Yangon International Airport by our guide and start your 7 days in Myanmar with the first visit to Myanmar Gems Museum before transferring to the hotel. After passing by Karaweik Palace, an impressive golden barge on Kandawgyi (Royal) Lake, promenade through China Town and the city center of Yangon to gaze out at the unique colonial architecture faded on the street buildings which is believed cannot be found anywhere else in Asia.
Next, continue to visit Botataung Pagoda, one of the most highly revered religious sites in the city enshrining the sacred Buddha's hairs. Experience the daily lives of local people around the jetty and take photos of the Yangon River as well as enjoy the stunning sunset before returning to the hotel.

Day 2: Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Heho - the gateway to Inle Lake, a mesmerizing attraction in Myanmar. When arriving, head to Nyangshwe to transfer to Inle Lake to discover imposing mountains, floating gardens, and stilted villages.
The boat tour of Inle Lake sightseeing begins from Nyaung Shwe Boat Jetty and makes ceases at Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery marked with carvings and a collection of Buddha images.
Contemplate the one-legged rowing technique of the Intha people and their floating garden. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda to contemplate five gold-covered Buddha images and Nga Phe Chaung Monastery to see jumping cats trained by monks. Overnight accommodation in Nyaung Shwe.
Day 3: Inle Lake - Kalaw (B)
After enjoying breakfast, drive to Kalaw - the capital of Shan State which is surrounded by hills and pine forests. It was once known as British Hill station, a small town with cool temperatures all year round.
There are many spectacular landscapes along the way waiting for you to capture. Once arriving, walk around the town, observe the daily lives of ethnic groups, enjoy local food, and visit the hustle local market, archaic train station, and colonial-style house. In the evening, have your own plan to explore Kalaw and rest well before the next trip in the morning.
Day 4: Kalaw - Fly to Mandalay - City Tour (B)
After breakfast, depart Kalaw for a domestic flight to the Royal Mandalay. After check-in at the hotel, visit the gold-covered Mahamuni Pagoda, one of the most important pilgrim sites in Myanmar housing the most highly revered Buddha image in the country. After that, make your way to Mahagandayon Monastery (Buddhist University), the largest Buddhist teaching monastery in Myanmar where we will get first-hand experience of the Buddhist training and the monks' daily life. What's a better way to gain local insights than visiting silk and cotton weaving workshops to gaze out at the production of the local artisans?
In the afternoon, continue to contemplate the delicate wood carvings in Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace), one of the finest examples of the traditional wooden monastery dating back to the 19th century. After that, we visit Kuthodaw Pagoda which is famous for the world’s largest book – the stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures.
Then head to Mandalay’s outskirts to visit Amarapura – the City of Immortality. After that, continue to explore U Bein Bridge – the oldest and longest teakwood bridge in the world which is built around 1850. Enjoy the amazing sunset from U Bein Bridge then return to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay
Day 5: Mandalay - Bagan (B)
After being served breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan. Once arriving, transfer to the hotel for the checking then begin visiting the hustle Nyaung Oo local market.
Continue to contemplate religious monuments in the surrounding plains including the most famous Pagoda and Temples in Bagan such as Shwezigon Pagoda, a prototype of Burmese stupas; Ananda Temple, built-in 1105 AD during the reign of King Kyanzittha of the Pagan Dynasty; That Byin Nyu Temple, built-in 1144 A.D by King Alaungsithu; Dhammayan Gyi Temple, built in late 12th century by King Narathu and Gubyauk Gyi (Myinkaba) Pagoda, a Buddhist temple built by Prince Yazakumar shortly after the death of his father, King Kyansittha of the Bagan Dynasty.
After that, pay a visit to sunset hill to catch the stunning sunset. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 6: Bagan - Mt. Popa (B)
After breakfast, depart for a 45-minute drive to Mount Popa where you can learn about the legends of Nats - spirits worshipped (natural spirits) in Myanmar in conjunction with Buddhism. When arriving, you have to pass 777 steps leading to Mount Popa and bump into the monkeys along the way. From the peak of Popa Taung Kalat, the panoramic view will definitely please you. Though Mount Popa area has more than 200 springs and streams, the surrounding zones are dry; it seems to be an oasis in the desert-like dry central region of Myanmar.
On the way back to Bagan, see the daily lives of local people hidden in the palm trees and contemplate the beautiful sightseeing along the way. Observe the process of making traditional lacquerware - one of the best handicrafts in Myanmar. Overnight accommodation in Bagan.
Day 7: Bagan - Yangon Departure (B)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Nyaung Oo airport to fly back to Yangon. When arriving, visit Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda, home to the70 meters long reclining Buddha marked with murals demonstrating the life of Buddha. Next, contemplate the 2.500-year-old Shwedagon Pagoda – the most famous and sacred pagoda in Myanmar covered by 16 tons of pure gold then head to Bogyoke Market (Scott’s Market) – the biggest market in Yangon, which sells hundreds of goods and products such as handicrafts, gemstones, art, food, and clothes. (Note: the market is closed on Mondays and the gazetted holiday).
