Day 1: Arrival Yangon (D)
Upon arrival at Yangon International airport, greeted by a local tour guide and the driver then transfer to the hotel and enjoy our welcome dinner at a fine local restaurant. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon - Morning Fly to Bagan - Temple Visit (B)
This morning enjoy a takeaway breakfast then transfer to the airport for our short domestic flight (1 hour 10 minutes) to Bagan. Welcome upon arrival in Bagan, we then start to explore Bagan - the land of the stupa and Buddha statues. With more than 2,000 pagodas & temples dating back more than 1500 years of history, Bagan is one of the most fascinating places for visitors when traveling to this country. This is also an ideal place for beautiful local art, such as lacquerware, bamboo works & wonderful locally made cloth.
Upon arrival, visit the Nyaung U Market for a first glimpse at the local life and trading. The market area is where you will discover a variety of local staples, hearing the delightful sound of people bartering for their products.
After that, we will make our excursion to one of the hills in Old Bagan for a panoramic view of the region. From here, we will see the jungle of brown, golden and white stupas around in the middle of trees, pieces of peanut, bean, and sesame farms… After that, we discover some most famous, beautiful pagodas such as Ananda Temple, Htilomin lo Temple, Gubyaukgyi Temple, Thabinnyu Temple, and Dhammayangyi Temple. We also stop at the Traditional Lacquerware Industry, one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. At the end of the day, we will enjoy the sunset over the sites from the top of sunset hill. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 3: Bagan - Mt Popa (B)
After breakfast at your hotel, we travel to Mt Popa. It is more than one hour's drive from Bagan. On the way, we will stop at a workshop where the farmers here will show tourists how to pick up palm fruit, and how to make candy, and wine… from the palm. It’s so lovely to walk around the leave and bamboo trees. Mt Popa is located on the Popa mountain which is a volcanic plug rising straight up out of a plain, and with the temple on top is a spectacular sight. There are hundreds of monkeys that are fed up with local people. They will follow tourists if they see the food, therefore, everyone should watch out for monkeys here.
On the way back to Bagan, we will stop at a village to explore the daily life of a village without electricity. The villagers use water from the rain and from the mountain. They take water from the public water station at the gate of the village and then carry home by cow cart. We can stop at any family, chat with local people and we will stop at a local primary school to contact the children here.
Day 4: Bagan - Fly to Yangon - City Tour (B)
Say goodbye to Bagan this morning to take a flight back to Yangon. Yangon city is a must-see city for tourists who want to see a different Asia. It’s the largest city in Myanmar with a combination of nature and cultures and communities. This city was founded in 1755 by King Alaungpaya and Yangon means “End of Strife”. After breakfast, we visit the Lawka Chanthar Arbayar Laba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) where we can see the Marble Buddha statue with 600 tons weight.
Later, we visit Yangon’s city center featuring Sule Pagoda the city center and colonial building and walk around Mahabandoola Park to see the colonial courthouse and the city hall.

(Note: the market is closed on Mondays and the gazette holidays).
