Day 1: Yangon Arrival

Day 1: Yangon Arrival
Upon your international arrival in Yangon, you will be transferred to the hotel where a savory lunch will have been prepared for you. In the afternoon, spend your time to explore the charm of the city. Take leisure walk through the colonial buildings to gaze out at the fabulous mix of Burmese and colonial architecture.
In the late afternoon, visit Shwedagon Pagoda - the pride of Yangon. It has gone through over 2500 years that witness the city 's historical journey. Here listen to your guide introducing the legend of the pagoda and the outstanding architecture to know more about the pagoda. Be sure to stay here till twilight to marvel at the glittering hue radiates from the sky and merges its light to the dark.
Your overnight accommodation will be either the historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).
Day 2: Yangon - Mandalay
Leave Yangon this morning to take a domestic flight to Mandalay - a city of great culture. Make your first visit of the day at Mahamuni Pagoda, an important religious site in Myanmar housing one of the most highly revered Buddha images in the country.
After that, gain local insight at the workshops of gold leave making, tapestry making, woodcarving, marble carving, and bronze casting. And. if you love, why don't you try your hands on making one under the careful guidance of the artisans? Then, charge energy with a flavorful lunch at a local restaurant before continuing our trip.
In the afternoon, visit the Golden Monastery admire the dramatic teakwood design of the Burmese people in the 19th century. Next up, visit Kuthodaw Paya, a complex of a golden stupa and hundreds of ancient shrines. Take leisure walk to explore the world's largest Buddhist book which made from 729 marble slabs.
Finally, fulfill your trip with a scenic drive to Mandalay Hill where spiraling staircases will lead you to sweeping views of the city and its temples. Here, you could get a golden chance to soak up the sunset over the hill.
Tonight, stay at the Mandalay Hill Resort or similar.
Day 3: Mandalay - Heho - Inle Lake
Start a new day with breakfast at the hotel, then our driver will transfer you to the airport for flight to Heho - the gateway to Inle Lake. Later, enjoy a relaxing drive from Heho airport to the hotel by the lakeshore.
Today, we will spend time to explore the fascinating Inle Lake. Located 900 meters above sea level, which is bounded by gorgeous mountains of the Shan plateau. This place also saw the emergence of the Inthar tribe famous not only for their unique leg-rowing style and fishing method but also for the floating gardens used as vegetable plantations. If by chance today coincides with the market day, we will make use of our time to drop by the regional market which takes place on a 5-day rotation basis in different areas of the lake.
Apart from that, we will head to Phaungdawoo Pagoda, whose reputation is given by richly gilded five 800-year-old Buddha images. Besides, our included visit will introduce you to the beautiful teakwood Ngaphechaung monastery (also known as jumping cat monastery); its foundation could be traced back to one and a half-century ago.
It boasts a wide array of interesting old Buddha Images; silk and cotton weaving cottages and blacksmith. Today, our overnight accommodation will be at Inle Lake Resort or similar.
Day 4: Inle Lake - Indein - Afternoon Flight to Yangon
The morning of day 4 gives you an opportunity to explore the western part of the lake by boat sailing through small twisting and turning creeks to reach Indein village. Nestled on the southwestern bank of the lake, the village is well-known for its ruined clusters of pagodas traced back to the 16th century. Get the feeling of traveling back to the history due to the tranquil peaceful ambiance and the ruins overgrown with bushes.
After lunch, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flight to Yangon. Check in to the historic Strand Hotel or Chatrium Hotel (or similar 4 stars hotel).
Day 5: Yangon Departure
In the morning, a drive will take you through Colonial downtown and head to the sprawling Bogyoke Aung San Market (formerly Scott’s Market). This market is considered as the paradise of antique, Burmese handicraft and jewelry shops, art galleries, and clothing followed by Sule Pagoda. (Note: the market is closed on Mondays and gazette holiday). Later on, our guide will take you to the airport to take a departure flight. Trip ends.
